Steps to Get MLS IDX Approval

This MLS grants IDX approval to all agents working for a given office or broker. For this MLS, Market Leader enables an agent to use the MLS feed after first validating a signed office or broker approval request. When Market Leader receives an agent request for approval, it checks to see if it has a record of the office or broker approval. If the broker has not been approved, Market Leader contacts the office or broker to obtain a signed request. An agent signature might also be required.

These instructions assume the following.

  • You logged into the Admin interface of your website.
  • You clicked Admin and MLS Administration.
  • You started an MLS application and selected this MLS.
  • Under Download Forms, you clicked Instructions for this MLS.

To request approval for this MLS feed, complete the following steps.

  1. Notify Market Leader by the email address provided in the MLS Administration view, including the following information.
    • MLS name
    • Broker name
    • Office ID
    • Website URL of your Market Leader hosted website.

      If this MLS does not have record of an approval for your office or broker, Market Leader sends an email response indicating that a form is required.

  2. Wait an appropriate period of time as indicated by Wait Time in the previous table.
  3. Check MLS Administration for application status.
